- Food, Insurance & Other expenses
General Info:
- PASSPORTS: You must have a passport to travel. If you do not have one, you may need to get started on it today. You may need to pay extra to have it expedited.
- Sleeping arrangements depend on the size of the group. We typically plan to use the “dorm” facilities that are wooden platform beds.
- Showers are available and some limited laundry. However, one purpose for this trip is to work on the water system, so these resources could be limited or unavailable for several days.
- The meals in Costa Rica are traditionally twice a day. A late breakfast and early dinner. Many bring snack items for early morning or evenings.
- We usually stop at a store on the way in and out, so you can pick up snacks for the week and treats to bring home.
- You do not need to bring much cash, just what you would use in the US airports. All food is provided and you can use credit/debit cards in stores for purchase. (This is your best option for a good exchange rate.)
- Nightly devotions/worship: We like to spend time each night to immerse ourselves in God’s word. This will include time to study or gather for worship.
